Windsor Regional Hospital is moving forward with plans for a new mega hospital after some terms of a lawsuit were dropped.
GEM Properties, whose site finished second in the selection process, launched a $10-million lawsuit earlier this month. The company had ordered an injunction that would have halted the hospital project, but chose to lift the injunction Thursday morning.
Hospital CEO David Musyj said he’s relieved that the process can continue and the lawsuit will be left to the courts to decide.
