The Gallery has been a part of Visions of Canada since Spring 2011.
The Gallery showcases not only glasses and sunglasses, but also a new artist every month. Local art previously displayed at The Gallery includes paintings, photography, sculptures, mixed media, and even one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. Over 20 artists have had their work shown at The Gallery since 2011. The most recent artwork displayed were paintings by Theresa Tremblay (shown in photos). Customers can enjoy the artwork as they choose a new pair of designer glasses, or you can feel free to take in some local art even if you don’t need to shop for new eyewear. In most cases, the artwork is for sale and proceeds go directly to the artists.
Visions of Canada specializes in creating “the world’s thinnest lenses” and helping those with difficult or unique prescriptions find the perfect glasses to fit their needs. Visions of Canada continues to perfect their craftsmanship to bring the best quality eyewear to those who have either common or unique prescription needs and approach each pair of glasses as if it were a unique work of art to be displayed in The Gallery.
Visions of Canada are located at 80 Park Street West and are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am – 3pm. On-site eye exams are also available. You can contact them by calling 519-254-8488 or visit them on-line for more information or check them out on Facebook.
