This Friday is the world premiere of Food Network’s You Gotta Eat Here with John Catucci at Bubi’s Awesome Eats.

Last spring, crews from the Food Network were in town at Bubi’s filming segments for the show.

You Gotta Eat Here is a 13-episode, half-hour television series that sends comedian and food-obsessed host John Catucci on a quest for Canada’s most delicious, mouth-watering, over-the-top comfort food.  Catucci has visited great joints, greasy spoons, and legendary restaurants to taste the food that made them famous and to meet the colourful characters that make these restaurants possible.  John dives into the kitchens to find out what makes these signature recipes so darn good!

You Gotta Eat Here premieres Friday at 9pm: catch it on your TV or head down to Bubi’s (620 University Avenue West) to watch.  The kitchen will close at 8pm that night, and they will be giving away free Bubi’s Burger Bundles.
