Several construction projects are getting underway in the city this week.
- Southbound McDougall Street will have lane restrictions between Holden Avenue and Eugenie Street East for sidewalk reconstruction. Flag persons will be present. Work starts on Tuesday, August 30th, until Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
- Clover Street will be closed between Tecumseh Road East and McHugh Street for Via Rail track repairs. The work takes place on Tuesday, August 30th, and Wednesday, August 31st, 2022.
- Arthur Road will be closed from Ontario Street to the VIA Railway tracks for sewer, water main and pavement rehabilitation. The work starts on Wednesday, August 31st, until Wednesday, November 30th, 2022.
- Northbound George Avenue will have lane restrictions between Milloy Street and Alice Street for catch basin repairs on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022.
- Bernard Road will be closed between Tecumseh Road East and Guy Street for surface asphalt placement. The work starts on Wednesday, August 31st, until Friday, September 2nd, 2022.
