Windsor firefighters have extinguished a fire near Via Italia.
Fire crews were called just before 10:00pm Tuesday to near the intersection of Howard Avenue and Niagara Street and found heavy smoke coming from behind an apartment building.
Windsor Police say two vehicles and several pallets were on fire.
The blaze brought hundreds of curious onlookers to the area just after an explosion was heard.
There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
