Museum Windsor Re-Opens November 2nd

Museum Windsor will welcome visitors back to the Chimczuk Museum and François Baby House for the first time in over a year and a half next week.

Starting on Tuesday, November 2nd, visitors to the Chimczuk Museum can explore Windsor’s rich history through our permanent exhibition and experience exciting moments in history through our current temporary exhibitions including Bustles and Bows: Fashion from the Victorian Era to the 1920s and Navigating Our Way: Maps of Windsor and Essex County.

At the François Baby House, guests can learn about the War of 1812 and Rebellion of 1838, discover over 300 years of French history in the region, and see historic firearms on display in the Baby House basement.

In addition to exciting exhibitions, the Chimczuk Museum and François Baby House continue to offer family-friendly activities like scavenger hunts and personal craft packages.

All visitors are required to wear a mask while in the museum, maintain social distancing of 2 metres, and complete a COVID-19 health screening before accessing either museum.

The Chimczuk Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.  The François Baby House is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
