The conversion of interlocking pavers to concrete around the Lakeside Marina starts Monday.
In March, a report to the council started that each season, the Marina operations crews are tasked with constantly maintaining sections of interlocked pavers throughout the facility.
“Tasks include the removal of sections of pavers and adding stone to eliminate trip hazards as well as constant weeding. The weeding alone is assigned to a dedicated staff that could be doing other things to improve the resident and boater’s experience at the Marina,” the report stated.
The cost of the project is $112,355.
The project is expected to be completed, weather-dependent, by May 28th, 2021.
