A long-abandoned home behind Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital on Goyeau Street will be demolished if the City’s Planning Standing Committee approves the request tonight.
The area is protected by the Howard-Eire Improvement Program that was established in 1987. This Program limits demolitions and development within the local area unless individually approved by the City.
A new one story office building is proposed to be constructed behind this property. The land this house currently sits on will be used to construct a 10 car parking lot.
