Border Road: Construction on New Trillium Court Continues

Construction is well underway on the relocation of Trillium Court, a public housing area in LaSalle that has to be demolished to make room for the W-E Parkway.
An entirely new subdivision is being constructed right across, and down the street from the old location. Fifty-six home owners will be moved to new houses which will have the same accommodations as the ones they are currently living in.
Construction began in June, and a half-dozen semi-detached homes are already framed; others have foundations poured. The Trillium Court community is expected to officially move sometime in the first half of 2012.
