The town of LaSalle will resume charging for use of the boat ramp starting on Monday, June 22nd.

The town says an attendant will be on site daily and payments can only be made using debit and/or credit.

The LaSalle Boat Ramp, located at Gil Maure Park on Front Road, was closed to the public at the beginning of boating season due to the COVID-19 restrictions imposed as part of the Province of Ontario’s State of Emergency, as well as the Town of LaSalle’s State of Emergency. The boat ramp was opened on May 16th, and at the time work was being completed on the boat ramp, and the town was unsure if the boat ramp would remain open based on the fluctuating water levels.

As a result, the town says the boat ramp was opened without charging any user fees.

The town says washrooms will be opened daily and will be cleaned twice throughout the day; once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Due to physical distancing guidelines, only two people should be in either washroom at any time.
The boat ramp attendants will not assist with launching boats.

The boat ramp fees for the remainder of the 2020 season are as follows (non-refundable): $13.00 daily rate, $75.00 for an annual pass for seniors (55 years of age and over) and $100.00 for annual pass (under 55 years of age).
