Inquest Called Into Deaths Of Two Windsor Construction Workers

An inquest will be held into the deaths of Brian Jeffery Izsak and Robert Morneau.

Izsak died at age 53 on July 26th, 2016, 11 days after he fell while doing the roof at GoodLife Fitness on Dougall Avenue

Morneau, passed away on November 3rd, 2016 at the age 44 after he fell while working as an electrician the roof of Ventra Plastics on Kew Drive.

This inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths and is expected to last five days and hear from approximately 12 witnesses

The inquest will begin at 10am on Monday, October 7th, 2019, at the Superior Court of Justice.
