Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

Jackson Park is one of the most intricate  parks in Windsor, this does not solely apply to its plant life, it also applies to the monuments and walking areas within the park . There are monuments in memory of the Boer War, Korean War and World War II.  There are also monuments commemorating important people such as the sundial which bears the name of Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Despite the solemn memorials, it was unsettling to see the defaced plaque on the side of the Boer War memorial. If you look closely at the photograph below you can see the words scratched above the first line.

Many of the walkways are in well-lit and open areas, but there are a few that lead to shade, or to quiet spots tucked away between bushes and tall plants. It is a well maintained park and worth an afternoon of exploration. From the lack of  litter to flowerbeds, the park shines under the sun.
