Windsor Police Celebrating 150th Anniversary With Celebration Gala

Windsor Police are celebrating their 150th anniversary with a gala hosted by the Charity Chix.
The gala celebration event will incorporate many special elements including a video presentation documenting major milestone moments in the evolution of policing in Windsor, as well as a service award presentations and the swearing-in of new cadets.
As well, a commemorative magazine is being produced with much of the content provided by local writer and historian Marty Gervais.
It takes place on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts. Gala tickets are $100 each or $900 for a table of 10.

Proceeds from this event will support a number of local children’s charities including The Children’s Safety Village, John Atkinson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics and Windsor Essex Regional Youth Council.
