The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation held their Annual CIBC Run for the Cure in Windsor on Sunday morning at the Riverfront Festival Plaza. Pink flooded the area as hundreds of participants showed their support with wearing the colour. Supporters were able to either run or walk a 1 or 5km route after attending an encouraging and uplifting opening ceremony.
The national run is the largest single-day volunteer lead Canadian event in support of breast cancer, and raises millions of dollars each year that go towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
