A group six local children will be holding their third annual lemonade and cookie stand for W.E Care For Kids foundation at Windsor Regional Hospital on Wednesday.
Last year, the group more than doubled their sales from the previous year by raising an outstanding $1,800. This year, Jaxson, Avery, Alexis, Brennan, Orianna, and Travis, have decided to increase their fundraising goal to $3,000.
In addition to raising funds through their own stand, the kids hope to encourage other children in the community to do their part in supporting local paediatric health care and W.E. Care for Kids.
It runs from 9am to 3pm at the Met Campus.
