The Catholic School Board is celebrating the success of their Christmas video contest.
Partially inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s late night musical sketches that involve his band using rudimentary instruments to perform popular songs, the board asked their schools to make their own Christmas videos following the same basic guidelines.
Schools were promised that their video would be shown at the last board meeting of the year, and that the board would make a small donation to the charity of their choice on behalf of their school.
The winning entry came from Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School, and their charity of choice was the St. Andrew’s Community Food Bank in LaSalle.
