This year marks the 50th Anniversary of firefighting services in the former Sandwich South Township.
To mark the occasion, the Town of Tecumseh will be hosting a cerebration at the former Sandwich South Fire Hall, now Tecumseh Fire Station #2 on Walker Road on Thursday, October 15th at 6pm.
There will be an open house at the fire hall, vehicles and equipment will be exhibited, along with a BBQ, cake, tree planting, story board unveiling and hundreds of photos on display.
All past and present firefighters and the public are invited to attend.
