Local Home Sales Up Again

Residential house sales were up for the month of July according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
In July, 628 homes were sold, compared with 603 in June 2015.
For the first seven months of this year 3,646 homes have changed hands compare to 3,128 in 2014. That is an increase of 16.53%.
In Windsor, it was in central/downtown Windsor where most homes changed hands with 109 sold, followed by south Windsor with 102, and west Windsor wraps up the top three with 83 houses sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 57 houses sold, LaSalle had 56 and Amherstburg had 43 sold.
