Do you know a dedicated bicycle commuter? Someone who goes the extra mile to integrate bicycles into their day-to-day lives and encourages others to do the same, even if only through their example?

If you know a seasoned or new commuter who should be recognized, the Windsor Bicycling Committee wants to hear from you/

They are holding their holding their annual Bike Commuter of the Year contest and the winner will receive a commemorative plaque, along with a bike commuter package worth approximately $500 including tune-ups, flat repairs and cool gear, courtesy of the City Cyclery.

All entries must include the nominee’s name and e-mail address and a brief write-up (200 words or less) of why they deserve the Bike Commuter of the Year Award.

The nominee must live, work or study in Windsor. Contest closes May 25th, 2015 at noon and the winner will be announced at the Bike to Work Day breakfast, on May 29th. Self-nominations are welcome. Send nominations to [email protected].
