Amherstburg Police are investigating a suspicious fire on Richmond Street.
A woman returning home Wednesday afternoon noticed her residence smelled like smoke and contacted the fire department.
Police and fire responded to the housing complex in the 100 block of Richmond Street and found significant fire and smoke damage inside.
There were no injuries and the value of damage has not yet been determined, according to police.
The fire is deemed suspicious at this time and is currently being investigated by the Amherstburg Police Criminal Investigations Branch.
