Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex will dedicate its Autumn Build Project on Saturday November 29th.
The home located at 1233 Armanda Road is the 57th Habitat home built in Windsor-Essex County since the organization affiliated in Windsor 20 years ago.
“This build has been a busy and exciting time for this family” says Mary Margaret Parent, Board Chair, HFHWE. “A new home is exciting for any family, but when a home is built with outpouring of support that Habitat receives from our community – it makes it that much more special, as it is now a home built with love,” Parent adds. With the help of the City of Windsor, corporate sponsors, teams and volunteers, the project is now drawing to a close.
“Next Saturday will be a very happy day for the MacInnis Family.”
The MacInnis family – Robert, Michelle, Kristopher, Jordan, Skylar, Angela, Breanna and Cydney are eager to move into the home, as soon as their interest-free mortgage is finalized, and they close on the deal next month.
The dedication ceremony will include messages of support and appreciation from sponsors as well as a key ceremony.
