Arrest Warrant Issued For Suspect In Counterfeit Investigation
The Windsor Police has issued an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man in connection to a string of counterfeit occurrences.
Police say that between February 7th and 10th, 2025, the suspect attended four pharmacies in the city and used a total of $1500 in counterfeit $100 bills to purchase gift cards.
The suspect has since been identified as David James Ufimzeff.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the following charges:
- Fraud under $5,000 (x4)
- Uttering counterfeit money (x4)
- Possession of counterfeit money (x4)
- Possession of property obtained by crime (x4)
