A long-time Church in South Windsor hit the market this week.

St. James Church, located at 4276 Roseland Drive East, opened in 1951 and served the growing South Windsor neighbourhood for decades.

After years of declining attendance, rising expenses, and building needs, the decision was made in 2023 to close the church. Its final service was held on Sunday, October 29th and the majority of the church members moved to St. Matthew’s on Norfolk. 

The church is listed for $999,900 and is located on a 1.25-acre island that includes parking, green space and a detached home.
