Downtown Neighbourhood Safety And Crime Prevention Walk Planned

A Neighbourhood Safety Walk will take place in Downtown Windsor on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Residents are invited to the walk to learn how to prevent opportunities for crime, change the way they see and walk through their neighbourhood, and learn personal safety tips. Individuals will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion and ask questions of officials along the way.

Participants will meet at Mitchell Park, and staff from the City of Windsor and Windsor Police Service will guide a round-trip walk (approximately 2 kilometres) through the neighbourhood north of the park.
