Bird Canada, saw tens of thousands of Windsorites embrace e-scooters and e-bikes in 2022, with the city in the top three performing cities for number of rides and kms travelled.
In 2022 alone, users in Windsor rode over 300,000 kms, the equivalent of travelling seven times around the world, with an average trip length of 2.93 kms.
The city’s longest trip of the season by one customer was 67 kms in a single ride.
“We love that Windsorites are seeing the direct lifestyle benefit of having micromobility options available, along with the positive impact on their community, and we look forward to another successful year ahead,” says Bird Canada’s Chief Operating Officer, Alex Petre. “Since launching in 2019, we’ve worked extremely hard to win the trust and respect of the cities we serve, and we’re excited by the fact that 98% of respondents felt that Bird Canada vehicles have had a positive impact upon the City of Windsor.”
