Sketch Of Suspect In Sexual Assault Investigation Released

Windsor Police have released a sketch of sexual assault suspect.

Police say around 3:00am on Friday, August 5th, 2022, officers were called to the 3000 block of Russell Street for a report of a sexual assault.

The female adult victim reported that an unknown male suspect entered the residence. The victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect who subsequently fled the scene.

With the assistance of an Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Sketch artist, a composite sketch of the suspect has been completed.

The suspect is described as male, white, 25 to 30 years, short dark hair, stubble on face, yellow tone to facial skin, 5’6″ to 5’10”, medium build and thin eyebrows. The suspect is described as wearing a dark shirt with a collar and buttons, dark coloured jeans, and muddy shoes or boots at the time of the incident.

Residents and businesses in the area are still requested to check their cameras for any further surveillance footage. It is believed the suspect was on foot in the area of Mill Street and Russell Street at approximately 1:30 am, prior to the incident which occurred at 3:00am in the 3000 block of Russell Street.
