Children’s Fest returns this year after a two-year hiatus.

Since its inception in 1995 as a project of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and now in partnership with the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA), more than 90,000 visitors have attended this annual event, coming from all over the region to enjoy the weekend activities and family fun.

“We’ve been looking forward to the return of this event and can’t say enough about the ongoing support of all our sponsors, advertisers, and vendors who stood by us during covid and are just as excited to be back are we are. In recent years, we’ve averaged over 5,000 attendees annually, and we have a full line up of community exhibitors, vendors and entertainers again this year,” said Patrick Kelly, Event Co-Chair/Public Relations and Communication Lead at BANA.

Some of the acts this year include UWindsor’s Physics Club, Copelands Martial Arts, Music from Travis Robinson and some guys who like to sing along with dance performances from Salin Lahi, Industry Dance and Academie Ste. Ceclie.

This year the event will take place on September 17th and 18th inside the soccer complex at Central Park Athletics.

The entry fee is $5 per person (and those coming Saturday can get a wristband for free on Sunday). Proceeds from the event support community health and education projects for both Rotary and BANA.
