A ribbon cutting was held Saturday for the new progressive crosswalk in LaSalle.
It is located at the front entry to the Zehrs on Malden Road, and is the first Pride Crosswalk in Canada located going into a grocery store entrance.
Zehrs will continue the celebration all weekend long from 10 am to 4 pm with a BBQ, LGBTQ+ agencies on hand to answer questions, silent auction, pride flower & cupcake sales, popsicle sales and more.
All proceeds raised will be donated evenly between Windsor Pride Community, Run for Rocky Legacy Project, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest and Trans Wellness Ontario.
