Motorcycle Rider Takes Off From Police

Essex County OPP is looking for a motorcycle driver after he failed to stop for police.
Police say at 3:28pm on June 13th, 2022, an officer from the Kingsville detachment was patrolling in the area of Main Street and Wigle Avenue in Kingsville when they observed an off-road motorcycle being operated on the road with no licence plate.
The officer activated his emergency equipment and signalled for the rider to stop; however the rider immediately accelerated and lifted the front tire off the ground performing a wheelie, and proceeded down the roadway away from the officer.
The rider and motorcycle are described as:
- Black T-shirt, shorts and shoes
- Green helmet with sun visor
- Smaller off-road style motorcycle
- Red gas tank and front fender
- White rear side panels
