Vincent Massey Secondary School halls are full of excitement even on a Saturday, with the Eighth MasseyHacks event taking place this weekend.
The high school hackathon has offered over a thousand students throughout the event’s years of all backgrounds to “create, learn, and build their skills.” Students work on tech-focused projects through the weekend to work on their skills individually and as groups, with a multitude of prizing being available at the end of the event. The event features 24 hours of activities, workshops and an opportunity to work with mentors who are in the computer science industry.
