Sarah McLachlan will bring An Intimate Acoustic Evening with Sarah McLachlan to The Colosseum stage, Saturday, July 9th at 9pm.

McLachlan released her debut album Touch over 30 years ago. Her sophomore release, Solace, went gold in Canada, catapulting the singer-songwriter to stardom in her own backyard. Another immediate success in her native Canada, McLachlan’s third offering, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, became a breakthrough in the United States, where it hit the contemporary charts.

McLachlan’s next album, Surfacing, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and went eight-times platinum in the U.S. The album was also met with critical acclaim, winning GRAMMYs for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance with “Building A Mystery” and Best Pop Instrumental Performance with “Last Dance.” Remaining incredibly popular in Canada, the album took home four JUNO Awards. Additionally, 2003’s Afterglow, 2006’s Wintersong and 2014’s Shine On all went Top Ten in North America.
