The Windsor Essex Great Lakes District Robotics event returned Saturday following a two-year hiatus caused by COVID-19.
This year’s event featured seventeen high school teams from across Ontario who will compete in this year’s game challenge, RAPID REACT, presented by Boeing Company.
The Windsor-Essex Great Lakes District is an annual event that welcomes dozens of FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) teams annually to showcase their design and engineering skills and compete in Canada’s largest high school robotics competition. The event was first brought to Windsor in 2014 as a direct result of the growth of the FIRST Robotics community in Windsor-Essex and surrounding regions.
The competition was streamed on Twitch.
