Package Stolen From LaSalle Front Porch

LaSalle Police is investigating the theft of two packages from the front porch of a residence in the 7100 block of Matchette road Tuesday afternoon around 2:30pm.

Police say that the theft was captured on the home’s surveillance system, which shows what appears to be a female exit a gold-coloured Dodge Caravan that was parked on the road in front of the house.

The female walked up to the front porch, grabbed the packages, and returned to the van on the passenger side before the vehicle was seen leaving northbound on Matchette Road. The entire incident took place over the course of approximately one minute.

LaSalle Police is asking the public if they can identify the person or vehicle in the photo and for residents in that area to check their video surveillance systems to see if the theft was captured.
