Miracle League Of Riverside Baseball Opens Registration For Inaugural Season

The Miracle League of Riverside Baseball has opened registration for its inaugural season.

“We are excited to finally kick off this league,” said Jason Dupuis, Miracle League Commissioner. “Unfortunately, with the pandemic, we’ve had to push this back two years. Everyone involved was disappointed for the players, but now we feel like we are in a place where the risks are manageable, and we can create an experience that our players will truly enjoy.”

Registration is open on their website for both players and volunteers at www.farrowriversidemiraclepark.com.

Volunteers who sign-up will be assigned to fulfill a myriad of duties and GameDay responsibilities and fill unique roles in the League’s Buddy program. The role of a Buddy puts the volunteer directly on the diamond and allows them to work one-on-one with a player to enable their experience while providing encouragement in an all-inclusive environment.

“Volunteers will play a critical role both in-game and in preparation.” says Dupuis. “We encourage everyone in the community and local businesses to participate in our Buddy program to support the League’s participants. It really will take the whole community to make this League a success, and we know this community will deliver.”

The Miracle League of Riverside Baseball will begin play on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, on The Solcz Family Foundation Field at Farrow Riverside Miracle Park.
