Windsor firefighters have extinguished a blaze in West Windsor.

Crews were called around 5:30pm Wednesday to the 700 block of Piche in the area of Wyandotte Street West and Mill Street for reports of smoke coming from a duplex.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire coming from the home.

The blaze was quickly brought under control.

Investigators say the fire was caused by careless disposal of smoking materials. The fire caused $150,000 in damages.

No one was injured but two people were displaced by the fire.
