Some local Christmas events will go on and are not part of the new Health Unit restrictions on social gatherings.

These events fall under organized public event and are not covered under the letter of instruction.

The Essex Santa Clause Parade planned for this Saturday will continue at 6:30pm.

Bright Lights Windsor is also not impacted by the health unit’s increased restrictions. Several measures are in place including directional signage helps manage the flow of people, attractions are spaced apart and masks are suggested where physical distancing isn’t possible.

The Kingsville’s Fantasy of Lights Festival also continues, but changes have been made to some events. You can find that here.

The River Lights Winter Festival in Amherstburg also continues.
