The Greater Essex County District School Board is reporting COVID-19 cases at three more public schools in Windsor on Saturday morning.

The board is reporting one case in a student at Kennedy Collegiate on September 17th, one case in a student at John A. McWilliam on September 17th, and one case in a student at Parkview public school on September 17th.

Greater Essex County District School Board public relations officer Scott Scantlebury has said the board does not release information about the number of cohorts or students affected by the case.

The school board sent letters to the Kennedy community, the John A. McWilliam community, and the Parkview community.

“We have been working with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) by providing lists of students and staff who may have been in contact with the individual,” the letters state. “If you have not been contacted, you or your child (ren) have not been identified as close contacts. The WECHU is contacting any individuals (students and staff) who have an identified high-risk exposure with the confirmed case and will give directions to follow.”
