The rainfall Saturday night caused flooding again at both sites of Windsor Regional Hospital.
Hospital officials say that the flooding occurred in most of the locations impacted by the July 16th storm.
At the Met Campus, flooding occurred at the Emergency Department entrance and some procedure rooms and hallways in the Diagnostic Imaging area, where the full extent of flooding is still being assessed. Other areas being cleaned up at Met Campus include the front lobby, the ground level of the Cancer Centre, shipping and receiving and the kitchen.
At the Ouellette Campus, water once again impacted the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, which has been closed since the July 16th flooding. The Cath Lab was on target to reopen on Monday, July 26th, but we will now need to reassess those plans. Several hallways and the Ouellette Campus kitchen were also impacted.
The hospital says they will provide updates as more details about the extent of any damage are confirmed.
