5 Ways To Celebrate Canada Day In Windsor Essex

Canada Day 2021 may not be exactly the same celebration we are used to from past years BUT there are some great ways to spend the holiday here in Windsor Essex.  We’ve come up with a list of a few ways to celebrate but make sure to check back often to see what each municipality across Windsor Essex Pelee Island has in store and stay tuned for our Canada Day Event Guide for new local additions popping up across the region.

Hometown fun & activities 

Town of Kingsville

Join The Town of Kingsville for Canada Week which will feature lots of opportunities for everyone to share virtually, and while maintaining social distancing. On Wednesday, June 30th local Kingsville restaurants will offer Canadian food and beverages to go! Visit all of your favourite places along our Canada Day Food Trail between June 30th and July 4th. Various local businesses will also have Canada Day cupcakes available.  Thursday, July 1st visit the Kingsville arena, Cottam Fire hall or Ruthven library for 1 of 500 FREE Canada-themed family gift bags and participate in the community-wide scavenger hunt! Town of Amherstburg

So much to Celebrate! Pick up your “All Canadian Amherstburg Celebration Kit” complete with crafts, sweet treats and your very own print of the 2021 Community Mosaic Mural (entry participants, this is for you too). Curb side pick up at the Gordon House location in the heart of Downtown Amherstburg (266 Dalhousie St.) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on June 30th. Tune in to Facebook.com/visitamherstburg on July 1st to see the virtual unveiling of the Community Mosaic Mural Project.
