Lakeshore Closing West Beach Due To Gatherings

Lakeshore is closing the West Beach after enforcement officers have observed increasing numbers of groups gathering and staying in contravention of the Provincial emergency orders.

Access will be closed and barricaded at 12:01am Sunday.

Residents may use the jetty for walkthrough access only but must maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from any other person using the amenity. A person who is a member of the same household, a member of one other household who lives alone or a caregiver for any member of either household may walk through the amenity together.

A&J’s Snack Shack will remain open for take-out only, in accordance with the Provincial emergency order. Dining on the premises or gathering is prohibited. Enforcement Officers will be on duty this weekend conducting community patrols.
