Parks and contract crews will be doing seasonal maintenance in Black Oak Heritage Park, Ojibway Park and the Spring Garden Natural Area this week.
Work includes cutting invasive woody species and applying herbicide as appropriate.
The herbicide is applied directly to cut stems, not broadcast sprayed, and signage is put out 24 hours prior to the start of work removed 24 hours after the completion of the work.
The parks are open, so visitors are asked to be mindful of workers and to remain on authorized trails.
