Festival Of Birds Cancelled For 2021 At Point Pelee National Park

Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

The 2021 Festival of Birds at Point Pelee National Park has been cancelled as part of an ongoing effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Annually during spring migration, Parks Canada encourages Canadians to bird locally, and Point Pelee National Park remains committed to connecting with Canadians through virtual programming.

Instead this year, throughout the month of May, the national park will share general migration information and work with partners to deliver virtual presentations that encourage visitors to participate in birding activities from their homes. Follow Point Pelee National Park on Facebook at facebook.com/PointPeleeNP or on Twitter @PointPeleeNP for information about virtual activities.

Although the park remains open, visitors should not expect the same kind of experience they’ve had in the past as vehicle access, parking and visitor services are significantly reduced.
