Diana Damphousse matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the January 15, 2021 Lotto Max draw to win $100,000.
Damphousse, a 76-year-old grandmother said she was checking a bunch of her tickets when she got a big surprise. “All of a sudden I see ‘Big Winner – $100,000’. I gave it to the clerk and the machine froze. Everyone was congratulating me – it was really fun,” she smiled.
She said she called her daughters right away. “We were all screaming with excitement!”
Life will be more comfortable now, Damphousse said. “It’s incredible – I’m kind of numb right now. This win means I have that much more for my future. There are so many emotions.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Zehrs on Tecumseh Road in Windsor.
