The Windsor Public Library is participating in an Ontario Parks Day-Use Vehicle Permit Library Lending Program.
With the program, customers can borrow a day-use pass, free of charge, that provides access for one vehicle and its occupants to more than 100 provincial parks in Ontario. The program starts March 1st, 2021.
Included in the day-use vehicle package, when borrowed, is a coupon for $5 off a future daily vehicle permit purchase at Ontario Parks to further encourage people to spend time in nature and a copy of the Ontario Parks guide (as supply levels permit).
Windsor Public Library has 9 passes – one at each branch – available on a ‘first come first served’ basis. The loan period is 7 days and the passes cannot be placed on hold and they cannot be renewed.
