Csc Providence Appoints Human Rights And Equity Advisor

Conseil scolaire catholique Providence has appointed Vanessa Kaboré as Human Rights and Equity Advisor.
This new position is part of Csc Providence’s efforts to ensure a school and work environment that encourages students and the school community to realize their full potential.
Kaboré holds a master’s degree in law and has acquired solid expertise in ethics and rules of professional conduct at various public protection agencies.
As a human rights and equity advisor, Kaboré will develop and consolidate relevant policies and procedures. Her work will consist of raising awareness and training Csc Providence employees and other stakeholders. She will also make recommendations vis-à-vis concerns and complaints received from students, parents, staff and other members of the school community.
“Mrs. Kaboré’s legal experience and expertise in investigations, interpersonal relations and capacity building will be significant assets for human rights and equity within the greater Csc Providence community,” Director of Education, Joseph Picard.
Kaboré will begin her new position on March 1st, 2021.
