Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Outbreak Rescinded

The COVID-19 outbreak at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare has been rescinded.
The outbreak that was declared November 29th, 2020 on third and fourth floors of the Rehabilitation tower.
The following are positive cases that have been attributed to this outbreak:
- 20 Patients
- 38 Employees
- 1 Physician
- 2 Students
They also report that three patients associated with this outbreak passed away due to COVID-19.
“On behalf of our organization, HDGH would like to extend our deepest condolences to their family members and loved ones. Beginning on Monday, January 11th, HDGH will lower the flag on our campus in respectful remembrance of these three individuals,” Bill Marra, VP External Affairs said in a news release.
“These are unprecedented, difficult and tragic times for our community. I would like to thank our staff, physicians, and community for their ongoing and tireless efforts to support each other, our patients and their families through all of this. Their professionalism and compassion is a hallmark of the HDGH team, but it was especially evident during this outbreak.”
