36 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Windsor Essex As Of Monday

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 36 new cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, bringing the local total to 3,326. They say 2,939 people locally have recovered.
Cases increased from 3,290 on Sunday November 22nd to 3,326 on Monday November 23rd and 275 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says 18 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 4 cases are community acquired, 2 cases are travel related to the U.S., 1 case is a healthcare worker, and 12 cases are still being investigated
There have been no additional deaths due to COVID-19 as of Monday and the local death toll stands at 77.
As of Monday, the Health Unit lists 11 people as hospitalized, and 4 people in the ICU with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Windsor Essex. Eight hospitalizations are listed at Windsor Regional Hospital.

As of Monday there are five outbreaks (one new today):

- Riverside Place (Windsor) has 1 resident case and 1 staff case (1 new staff case as of Monday)
- Berkshire Care Center (Windsor) has 2 staff cases (1 new staff case as of Monday)
- Lifetimes on Riverside (Windsor) has 5 resident cases and 4 staff cases
- Iller Lodge (Essex) has 17 resident cases and 3 staff case (2 new staff cases as of Monday)
Workplace Outbreaks
As of Monday there is one workplace outbreak at an agri-farm in Leamington.
