Kitchen Fire Destroys East Windsor Home

Windsor Fire officials say that oil in a pan ignited, causing a house fire in East Windsor Saturday evening.

Fire crews were called to the home in the 2400 block of Lloyd George just before 8pm.

When they arrived, they found the house fully involved and had to switch to a defensive fire attack quickly.

The fire was brought under control in about two hours.

No one was injured. Three people and a dog have been displaced.

Damage is set at $300,000.
