The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has confirmed 3 new cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, bringing the local total to 2,652. They say 2,510 people locally have recovered.
Cases increased from 2,649 on Sunday September 27th to 2,652 on Monday September 28th and 58 people are currently self-isolating with COVID-19.
The Health Unit says the sources of all three cases are still under investigation at the moment.
There have been no additional deaths due to COVID-19 as of Monday and the local death toll stands at 76.
As of Monday, the Health Unit lists 4 people as hospitalized with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Windsor Essex, and 2 of those hospitalizations are listed at Windsor Regional Hospital.
