Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the area.
They say that a period of high temperatures and humidity is expected for the Windsor area beginning on Sunday and continuing until Tuesday night.
Maximum daytime high temperatures are expected to be near 31°C or 88°F and minimum night-time temperatures near 21°C or 70°F.
The heat event is expected to end on Tuesday night when a cooler airmass moves into the region.
